How to send printed photos to someone
Pick the photos
Choose 5 to 40 from your camera roll. Crop, add a filter or turn a few into a collage. You see exactly what prints.
Put in their address
At checkout, type their name and address as the shipping address. Your receipt and the tracking emails come to you.
We print and mail them
Each photo goes onto real Instax film, then into a flat, rigid mailer with tracking, within 2 business days.
What shows up at their door
A flat mailer from Instant Film Prints with your photos inside, each one a real Fujifilm Instax print: Mini is 2.1 x 3.4 inches, about the size of a credit card, and Square is 2.4 x 2.4 inches of picture. They're stiff, glossy and have the white film border, so they look like they came out of an instant camera, because the film is the same. See them at true size on our polaroid size guide.
For Mini prints you can add clear sleeves, or sleeves with a fridge magnet on the back, on the last step ($0.50 or $1 a print). Grandparents tend to like the magnets: the photos go straight on the fridge.
Let them know it's from you
We don't email the person you're sending to, and there's no gift message box yet. Two ways around that:
- Make the first print your note. Write a few lines by hand, take a photo of it and add it to your photos. It arrives in the stack, on film, in your handwriting.
- Send the tracking link. Forward the shipping email so they know something's coming, or let it be a surprise and text them the day it's delivered.

Free standard shipping to any US address is included. Any count from 5 to 40 works: each print past the fifth adds $2.25 (Mini) or $2.80 (Square), and 10 or 20 prints never cost more than the 10- or 20-pack. Priority Mail is $15 at checkout. Printing 50 or more for an event? See bulk pricing.
Timing it for a birthday or Christmas
We print and ship within 2 business days and delivery usually takes 2 to 5 days after that, so order about a week before the day. Priority Mail ships the next business day and usually arrives 1 to 3 days later. For Christmas, order by December 10 to be safe.
Questions
Can I send printed photos to someone else's address?
Yes. Pick your photos, then type their name and address as the shipping address at checkout. We print the photos on real Instax film and mail them straight to that address.
Will they know who sent the photos?
Not unless you tell them. The mailer comes from Instant Film Prints, and the confirmation and tracking emails go to you, not to them. Text them the tracking link, or make the first print a photo of a note you wrote.
Can I include a gift note?
There is no gift message box yet. The easy workaround: write your note by hand, take a photo of it, and add it as one of the prints. It arrives in the stack, on film, in your handwriting.
How long does it take for the prints to arrive?
We print and ship within 2 business days, and delivery usually takes 2 to 5 days after that. Priority Mail ($15 at checkout) ships the next business day and usually arrives 1 to 3 days later. For Christmas, order by December 10 to be safe.
Can I send prints to more than one person?
Each order ships to one address, so place one order per household. Every order is at least 5 prints, so a set for each grandparent's house or each friend works well.
Can I send printed photos to someone outside the US?
Checkout takes US addresses. For anywhere else, email [email protected] with the country and how many prints, and we will send a shipping quote.
