If you need them today and just want the look, a drugstore retro print is the cheapest answer, and it's a fine one. It's regular photo paper cut to a polaroid shape, so it won't feel like film, but for a party wall or a class project that may not matter. They're real instant film, but not Polaroid-brand film. Polaroid is a brand; we print on Fujifilm Instax, the instant film most people picture. It has the same kind of physical white border, glossy surface and stiff feel as a print from an instant camera.
With us, $18 for 5 Mini prints up to $59 for 20 Square prints, which works out to $2.25 to $4.40 a print with free US shipping included. Drugstore retro prints on paper cost about $1 or less each, and printing at home on an Instax printer costs roughly $0.85 to $1.20 a print in film after you buy the printer.
Not on instant film. Walgreens, CVS and Walmart sell retro or polaroid-style prints, which are regular photo paper with a white border printed around the image. They're cheap and quick, but they aren't instant film.
